Fully Alive was an increidble opportunity for high school students to be encouraged with good teaching, trained for personal ministry, personally renewed with passionate worship and uplifted in fellowship.

The morning and evening sessions were characterized by engaging music, prayer and teaching. The combination of long periods set aside for students to meet personally with the Lord, a time to discuss with a small group every evening and the two daily sessions resulted in applicable teaching, students pursuing accountability and an enthused attitude about personal time with the Lord.

The other activites planned for the week gave students time to connect with one another, have fun and even serve the surrounding community! A service project, an afternoon of rock climbing and some street surveys were a great combination of fun activities that had a purpose.

The talks at Fully Alive really challenged me. It’s not enough to read the Bible on my own- I need to really live it out. I realized that I had allowed myself to get comfortable in my box, rather than risking discomfort to reach the people I know who don’t know Christ. I let myself forget that them coming to know Christ matters much more than a moment of embarrassment or fear.
